The Collagen Vascular Diseases Clinic
The Collagen Vascular Diseases Clinic at the
Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania offers
state-of-the-art treatment for autoimmune skin
disorders including:
- lupus erythematosus
- dermatomyositis
- morphea
- vasculitis
The Clinic provides comprehensive diagnostic
evaluation and treatment, as well as support
for the psychosocial aspects of these diseases.
Individual treatment programs, education, and
counseling are provided in order to meet the
needs of each patient. There are a
number of ongoing studies to investigate potential
new therapies for patients with these diseases.
Our physicians also conduct basic science research
to increase our understanding of why these diseases
occur.
