Infertility affects millions of people in many different and complex ways. Penn Fertility Care understands that each patient is unique and is committed to developing a treatment plan based on the individual needs of our patients. Identifying the cause of the problem requires reviewing a patient's medical history and performing a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation.

Penn Fertility Care physicians provide compassionate intervention, goal-oriented reproductive care and are experienced in the following reproductive health treatment options:

  • Male and female fertility diagnosis and treatment
  • In vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
  • Other assisted reproductive technologies
  • Reproductive surgery
  • Endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) treatment
  • Donor egg program for both egg recipients and egg donors

There are many successful procedures and treatments for both male and female infertility patients. Infertility is not only found in women. Up to 40 percent of infertility causes can be found in the male partner. Penn Fertility Care is unique in that it evaluates and treats both male and female partners in one location.

Penn Fertility Care has a certified, on-site laboratory. Our laboratories and staff are renown for their excellent quality and for their research contributions to the field. Our staff strives to achieve success and remains active providing medical research designed to improve patient care.

Once a diagnosis is made regarding a patient's infertility cause, your physician will discuss possible procedures, medications and treatment recommendations. The physician will also answer questions you may have regarding your condition and care and will review with you the details on the next steps you should take in your infertility treatment.
