Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Surgeons in the division of oral and maxillofacial
surgery at Penn provide consultation and treatment
for:
- Congenital jaw deformities
- Cosmetic surgery
- Hair transplantation and micrografting
- Infections of the teeth and maxillofacial
area
- Lesions and tumors
- Sleep disorders,
such as sleep apnea and snoring
- Trauma

Oral Medicine
Specialists in oral medicine provide consultation
and non-surgical medical treatment for a variety
of complex disorders including:
Oral and Maxillofacial
Rehabilitation
Our team of prosthodontists, periodontists and
orthodontists specializes in the restoration and
replacement of teeth, mouth and facial structures
using the latest, most advanced techniques including:
- Crowns and dentures
- Dental implants
- Invisalign™ and orthodontics
- Periodontal therapies
- Saliva stimulation/replacement
- Tooth whitening
- Veneers
Specialists in the division of oral and maxillofacial
rehabilitation work closely with general dentists,
as well as other specialists, including plastic
surgeons, otorhinolaryngologists and oncologists.
Our staff treats a variety of complex conditions,
including reconstruction and rehabilitation of
patients with head and neck cancer, congenital
and developmental anomalies and traumatic injuries.
Our division is one of the only programs in the
Philadelphia region that offers prosthetics for
the nose, eyes and ears.
