As part of Penn's ongoing efforts to improve your access
to our physicians and services, we have established PENNHealth,
a toll-free physician communication line. PENNHealth is
answered by our specially trained counselors from 8:30 am
to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. After 5 pm and on weekends,
PENNHealth calls are answered by the UPHS Call Center.
Follow-up Communication
Penn physicians are committed to prompt communication and
follow-up to keep you informed about the condition of your
patient. Test results and condition reports will be phoned
or faxed promptly. If you need assistance in obtaining follow-up
information, we urge you to call PENNHealth,
1-800-789-PENN.
Referring a Patient Online
Now you can request an appointment for one of your patients
through our secure
online form. A PENNHealth counselor will contact
the patient within two business days, ready to assist with
scheduling an appointment and answering any questions. When
the appointment has been made, the PENNHealth staff will
contact you with the appointment information for your
records.
